The John George Student Loan Fund will loan qualified
Michigan students up to $5,000 per year at a 2% interest rate
to attend Michigan state-supported colleges and universities.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Jackson County Michigan residents and graduates
of Jackson County Michigan high schools.
WHERE DO I APPLY?
Applications are available October 1 through April 30 and
may be downloaded from this website or obtained
from our office at 145 S. Jackson Street, Jackson, MI
Office hours are: Monday 1:00-5:00 p.m. Tuesday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Applications are due back to our office by mail or in person no later than May 1
Applications received after May 1 will be considered on a funds-available basis.
Please note that this application process is for new students only.
John George returning students will receive a renewal letter in February.
